Faithfulness and Focus!!

Faithfulness and Focus!
Deuteronomy 4:29, KJV

But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all your soul.”

So often we say, we are Christians, and we are being directed by God and doing all we can to stay inline with His will…but are we really? When things start getting hectic and seeming out of control…do we still trust in Him to be the Head and not the tail…If we are truly directed by Him, then we will make decisions in our everyday activities that are inline with His will…

God really deserves your best…Is He getting it? Do you make an appointment with your Heavenly Father each day? Do you carve out moments when He receives your undivided attention? Or is your devotion to Him momentary, unfocused and irregular?

If I say I am a Christian then I need to act like it…I need to focus…When you acquire the habit of focusing your heart and mind squarely upon God’s intentions and commands for your life, He will guide your steps and bless your comings and goings…But if you allow distractions to take priority over your relationship with God, they will—and you will pay a price for your mistakes…

Today focus on God’s Word and upon His will for your life…When you do, you’ll be amazed at how quickly everything else comes into focus…

We have something seriously amazing in store for us if we will match our beliefs with obedience…We must pray that God will continue to strengthen our confidence in His power and trustworthiness, and that He will grant us courage to step out in faith and give us opportunities to prove ourselves as His children…

We must become doers of the Word

Listen, if from here today, you seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul and all your decisions

He is there just waiting for us to call on Him for the help He offers and promises in His Word.

Success isn’t the key…Faithfulness is!!

Be absolutely clear about who you are and what you stand for…Refuse to compromise!!

May God bless you always…

I really enjoyed this post. Right now in Sunday school we are studying THE PRAYER OF JABEZ and we are going over asking God to expand our territory. I have come to realize my fear of asking for God's blessings. It amazes me how simple it is to have a relationship with the Lord all we have to do is give back to Him what is rightfully His. Thank you for sharing. Love ya!
