The power of continuos prayer

Good afternoon, I have a friend who lives is Wagner S.C. His name is Billy Colvin. He writes some of the most inspiring poems and short stories that I have ever had the honor of reading. I believe I have shared some of his writings on this post before.

As it turns out his son writes alittle also. They sent me a poem that Billy's son wrote the other day. It is really good. I will be using it in my message on Sunday at St. Helena Baptist Church. Here is a copy of.....

ON BENDED KNEE

Life’s journey is so uncertain,
The Master’s plan oft hard to see

We should seek the light we need,
From down on bended knee

When Satan tempts you daily,
Kneel down with certainty,

That nothing makes him tremble,
Like a man on bended knee.

God’s power is an awesome sight,
So many fail to see.
Stand tall, stand proud, stand very strong,
But start on bended knee

You see he sent his son to die,
Hung high on Calvary
With two thieves, for you and me
Thank him on bended knee

Tell others of his grace and love
His power and majesty
Please remember it is a gift
So pray on bended knee

The streets of gold are waiting
Submission is the key
It does not cost a thing you know
Just a bended knee

It's encouraging to hear of your work there! Thanks for reading Pulpit Helps (I just processed your survey and thought I'd visit your site). I hope we will continue to provide good resources for your ministry!
