IT

Good morning world:

I have been really busy and have not been able to post anything as of late. I have a good friend who is one of the most gifter writers I have ever known. He lives in Wagner S.C. and his name is Mr. Billy Colvin. He has given me permission to post some of his material on this site for the world to see. He is a Christian and knows Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior. His wifes name is Margie and she is a great lady and also a servant of the Most High God. So check out this first inspired poem called, "IT."

"IT"
Somewhere beyond the edge of the mind it lies assigned by dreams only found in the heart.
It lies hidden in the forest of deepest fear, behind the clouds of doubt, just over The mountain of indecision, and forever to the plains of the Mundane and ordinary.
Every man seeks it, tries to capture It, give it a name, a texture, a color or an assignment into a corner into which it can never fit.
Glimpses of it allow us The vision to know we seek something that to capture would be to lose.
It is enigmatic, a mystery that won’t be solved, or A feeling racing up and down the psyche that some have likened to the clarion call of the siren, keening to destruction.
It is the beauty of each day, of the singing of the lark , the smell of the fresh cut pine, or new lightning. It is bigger than life. It is stronger than death.
It is to be found beyond the grave, to life everlasting.
PERECT PEACE .
Beyond the words that fill the lines, the tools of the poet, it must always be the quest. A freely given gift-not to have , But to freely give, Amen.
