Thank you Lord!!

Good morning world!! Out side right now, some well needed rain is watering what God has already planted. I just want to say, "Thank You Lord." There are so many things that we over look each day. We often take important things for granted. Like rain, when it does not rain everything get dried up and out. So right now thank the Lord for the rain. How about air? We do the same thing with air. We take it for granted, but without it we would perish.

I want to thank God right now for my wife. Man, she is so special, (Good looking to). I am so thankful that God has gifted her with a mind full of good ole, "common sense." She is a servant not only for her family but also for Jesus. She is always doing something for somebody. She is a positive force in this world. My life is blessed because of her.

Often when I write something or maybe preach somewhere, she will be the first to tell me what she thinks. She sort of sneaks up with what she thinks. She may say that was or is good, but I know that in due time, after she has had time to think about, whatever, she will give me her opinion. Often it is not what I wanted to hear, but it is usually what I needed to hear. Women do not always see things the way men do, and that is good. We all need to see life from different views.

I have learned to listen to her and by doing this it will help me become better not bitter. I believe this is important in any relationship. (We can learn from listening.)

“Thank You Lord”

When the storms of life are raging, I look to Jesus, He’s my guide.
When the rough seas want to cover me, I know He’s by my side.

When trouble seems to surround me, my heart to thee I reach,
When my cry is heard before You, Your Word I know will teach.

It Will teach which way to travel, and point the way to go.
I know Your Spirit is in me and this I want to show.

Thank you Lord for listening and showing patience from above.
Thank you God my Father, for sending Jesus so full of Love.

Thank You Lord for the sunshine that gives such special light.
Thank You Father for stars that reach out and shine so bright.

I praise You Lord and Savior for everything you do.
My life I will sacrifice an offering, faithful and true.

I know it will not be easy, just show me where to be.
Your Word that’s in my heart, it needs to be set free!!

I praise You Lord and Savior, on Your Word I stake my claim,
I praise You Lord and Master; it’s Your Word I will proclaim!!

Thank You Lord for darkness that presses every night.
Thank You God for Jesus, our hope and shining Light.

Thank You Lord for Your disciples who were taught and trained by You.
Thank You Lord for training them so they could train us to.

I praise You, O my Savior; I love to share Your story,
And Father as I go out, I’ll give You praise and glory!!
